Vendor for the Publix Savannah Women's Half Marathon and 5K, Nourish Handmade Natural Bath Products, wants to help the ladies in Savannah enjoy a little well deserved pampering. Nourish is one of my absolute favorite spots to visit when in Downtown Savannah. All of their products are top notch and their customer services is simply amazing!
Nourish's bath salts are 100% natural and use potassium and magnesium to reduce stress and ease sore muscles. After a long day of work, training, long-runs, and just life in general, I don't know what I can use more - stress reduction or taking care of my achy muscles. Luckily, the Nourish Lavender & Peppermint Bath Salts provide both! The calming lavender is just what I need to calm my mind without an overbearing scent - there is just enough scent to give you the benefits without being too overpowering. |
I have been a HUGE fan of Nourish's Shower Steamers for the past year. In fact, I love them so much, I keep a jar fully stocked on my bathroom counter at all times. With each scent comes different essential oils infused with benefits such as cough/sinus/congestion relief, heachache relief, and mood enhancing. My two favorites are Orange Blossom that helps energize you on those hard to wake up mornings (or a little pick me up after a workout) and Lemon & Eucalyptus which really helps my soothe cough and sinuses during allergy season. Using the shower steamers are so easy. Simply place the shower shower on a flat surface out of the direct spray of the shower and drop a little water to activate the steamer. Boom - a spa-like experience right there in your own shower as the essential oils and steam fill your shower! |
One of Nourish's staple products that they sell are their bar soaps. I know, I know, what is so special about soap? This isn't just soap. Nourish's bar soaps are wonderfully scented with things such as rosemary and lemongrass that sooth you as you wash. Even better, since they are made with shea butter, aloe and avocado oil, your skin gets infused with nutrients! While it is always important to have clean hands, there is nothing worse than dry skin from washing with soaps that dry your hands out, but all that is avoided with Nourish's bar soaps. If you haven't tried these soaps out, you are missing out. Don't worry, if you aren't found of scents, there are unscented ones as well. |
Nourish Bath Fizzies (Retail Price: $3.00) - I am typically not much of a bath girl. It isn't that I don't enjoy the occasional warm, relaxing, soak of a bath after a run (especially in the winter), I just don't to enjoy them often because I am usually in a hurry and jump in the shower instead. Since baths are a rarity it seems, why not pamper myself a bit? I have always been intrigued by "bath bombs" or "fizzies" but have never tried them. Basically they are like a grown up bubble bath. Simply drop a golf ball sized fizzie into the tub and the fizz releases all natural fragrances and moisturizing shes butter into the tub. Whether you sit back and relax or enjoy the "fizzie show" is up to you. I prefer the later option. Nourish has a lot of different scents in their bath fizzies, so whether you are a floral girl or more of a fruity scent lover, they have something for you. |
Travel Tin Soy Wax Candle (Retail Price: $8.00) - Nourish's candles are made from soy which makes them a clean burn candle. What exactly does that mean? Well, for me it means that they are non-toxic and the scent will last longer. I mean, the scent of candles important and nothing is worse than when the candle loses its smell over time. I love the size of the travel candles! It is the perfect size to keep by the bathtub without it being in the way but still provides all the calming feels. I am thinking post-half marathon relaxation time.... |
When Momma K and I head to Savannah this April, we will definitely be adding a trip to Nourish to our Savannah Women's Half Marathon Fashion Fitness Expo as well as a trip to their Savannah store location. I will likely buy #AllTheThings when I stop by, but when a local shop has some great products, you have to stock up when you are there. Am I right?
