I will tell anyone, one of the absolute hardest parts of multi-runDisney race weekends are the insane wake-ups several days in a row. Before the sun set over Walt Disney World, we had our clothes laid out and were nestled in bed.
I had a bus at our stop before 3am waiting to pull out when buses started at 3am. Security was a breeze and we made our way to Race Retreat to relax and eat breakfast before heading to the corrals.
My favorite guys out there? The #PrincessMen - these guys are AMAZING each and every year. I can't even run 13.1 miles in a full length dress, so kuddos to them!
There is always anxiety about how crowded it will be going through the castle and if you will get to "run" through it or "shuffle" through a bottleneck. When I made it through, the crowd was fairly light. Not empty, but not a total bottleneck.
Now it is time for my yearly public service announcement...every year I see at least one runner that insists that they are going to run on the other side of the road. People, the cones dividing the lanes is diving the running lane from the open traffic lane! I cringe every single time I see this! Please be safe and don't run in lanes that are open to traffic!
