We got into the holding pen at the start line about 10 minutes before our wave. After getting a run down of rules and safety signals, we were led in a motivational and team bonding pep-up before heading out.
I have been working on warped walls at my ninja gym the past few months, so I was hoping for a stronger performance on Colossus than in the spring. My goal was to run further up the wall and grab the rope higher so I had less "climbing" to do on the rope.
I charged to the wall and GOT THE ROPE! I made it most of the way up but then my legs started to give with the slant of the wall and mud covering it. Thank goodness for my team because they grabbed me and got me up! It went so much better than in March, so I call that my big win of the day.
