The first screen shown in the app had a lot of information that my Garmin watch provides (distance, duration, pace, etc). While these statistics are based on the movement of the pod, I questioned how accurate they would be. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much the MilestonePod statistics matched up to my Garmin statistics. Granted, I start/stop my Garmin at the start and finish line and the MilestonePod starts while approaching the start line and doesn't stop until after I get through the finish area and rest, but the numbers were pretty on point. In the run posted below my Garmin showed a run of 13.27 miles and a duration of 2:29:11 so you can see the little bit of variance. After several runs with my MilestonePod, I found that the results were in line with what is shown below - a slight variance based on steps and time before/after my run that were configured in, but still pretty much in line with my Garmin statistics for pace, duration, distance, etc.
Thank you again to Milestone Pod for allowing me the opportunity to try out one of these awesome devices!
