Over the past few months, Becky and I have attend a couple of Girls' Night Out events held at our local Road Runner Sports stores. Girls Night Out events are a series of events held at the Road Runner Sports stores nation-wide. The evening are a great time to try out some new products, shop the store with extra discounts and even win some prizes. The best part is that these events are FREE! When we entered the store, we checked-in verifying that we RSVP'ed for the event in order to claim an extra raffle ticket for doing so. We were also greeted with some light snacks and drinks to munch on while we shopped. As you shop the store, you receive bonus raffle tickets for trying out certain items in the store. For example, trying on a pair of Brooks shoes or a Moving Comfort bra scored you an extra ticket. A representative from Prissy Tomboy was in attendance. We had met a few of the ladies from Prissy Tomboy briefly at a previous Adventure Run, but it was great to learn more about the organization and their goals. Prissy Tomboy is an organization focused towards helping pre-teen and teen girls find ways to engage in a active lifestyle through trying different activities in a non-intimidating environment. To learn more about Prissy Tomboy, be sure to check out their website. As the evening progressed, the Road Runner Sports team drew raffle tickets for various prizes. The prizes ranged from foam rollers, to hats, to water bottles, and a grand prize of Brooks shoes and a Moving Comfort Bra. Even though we did not win anything at Girls Night Out, we made the best of the evening and did what we do best - SHOP! Road Runner Sports provides extra discounts on select items during Girls Night Out events so of course we had to do a little shopping which we were there. Girls Night Out is continuing at Road Runner Sports stores this week, so be sure to check out your local store for dates and times of these events (or future events).
