As we stood in the corral, we met a lot of other runners from all over the country and even some international runners. One of my favorite things about race day is meeting new runners and hearing their stories. Chatting it up with other runners definitely made time go by faster.
Just before it was our turn to start, the rain started to move in. Momma K and I knew that we had two choices: be miserable, cold, and wet runners or embrace the awesome opportunity to run the Last Vegas Strip and have a blast. Ummmmm, we will take the later option please! So away we go!
Ok, so, you know I always keep it real with you. With that said, I present to you, selfies of the Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon 2015 wind storm. I hope that my wind-blown look adds a bit of joy to your day.
I have been asked a number of times already if I plan on returning to Las Vegas for a future Rock 'n' Roll weekend - ummmm, of course! I have my laces crossed tight that my 2016 schedule will allow for me to head back west again next November to run The Strip yet again! Hopefully next time mother nature will not act like a fool and try to make us look like a bunch of drunk runners heading down Las Vegas Blvd!
