One of my absolute favorite ideas for a great stocking stuffer is just about anything from Momentum Jewelry. With their foot notes (shoe tags) and bracelets, your favorite runner can carry words of encouragement with them on every run (and even daily). While they have a wide selection of different mantras like "Make it Happen", "Finish Strong", and "Own Today", they also offer custom sayings as well. Their prices are super affordable and their customer service is absolutely wonderful!
Y'all know I love to selfie it up! No matter if you use your phone to listen to music, track your run, or take pictures at races, having a dead phone after your run sucks. I always like to make sure that I am connected, so I make sure to have a portable charger in my running bag so I can charge after my run. These are also awesome to take with you on racecations (especially runDisney weekends) so you can always be ready to post those awesome moments on the internet to brag to your friends about.
Gift cards are always a great gift option. When shopping for your favorite runner, it doesn't always have to be an elaborate gift card though. While we would appreciate gift cards to our local running stores to get some new kicks or gear, there are a lot of other options to spoil your runner with. How about slipping a $10 gift card to their favorite coffee shop or restaurant to pick up our next post-run treat with? A gift card to ITunes to pick up some new tunes for our playlists is also really appreciated.
Did the runner in your life complete a milestone race this year? Did they qualify for Boston? Run their first half marathon? Or maybe you just want to help them celebrate running! My friends at Gone For A Run offer a wide variety of ornaments (which many can be personalized). Last year, I got Momma K an ornament to help commemorate her first half marathon so she can remember that day each year when she decorates the Christmas tree. I also received an ornament after running my first marathon in 2012 - this is a wonderful way to remember this milestone accomplishment each year as it hangs on the tree.
You have probably heard the saying "running is cheaper than therapy" or about how running is an inexpensive sport. Well, that is not really true. There are so many little things that runners use and those costs add up fast. If you know your runner well, pick up a few of his or her favorite fuel items/gels to fill their stocking with rather than candy. Other "care kit" items can include things like papering products to make us feel good after a long, sweaty run.
