While every product might not be the best fit for you, you can typically find a friend that might want to try it out instead. The best part about StrideBox is that it is just $19.95/month and you can cancel your subscription any time if you find that you aren't enjoying your box.
Each month when I receive my StrideBox, I am honestly like a kid on Christmas morning. I absolutely cannot wait to rip into my box and see what kind of goodies await me.
Fact: I LOVE snacks and I love cake/cupcake! Between work, running, the gym, and trying to have somewhat of a personal life, I am on the go A LOT and I am trying to do better avoiding vending machines and drive-thrus, so I try to have healthy snacks with me for when I get a little hangry. I am always looking for new snacks to throw in my purse, gym bag, or desk drawer to keep me fueled and ready to go.
Optimum Nutrition's Protein Cake Bites look pretty tasty and like a great treat to cure those sugar cravings at 3pm and give me some protein before heading to the gym for my workout or run. There are a number of different sweet treat flavors including red velvet cake and chocolate frosted donut which might just need to be sampled by me soon.
Performance oatmeal? Who knew there was such a thing?!?! Picky Oats' 'How 'bout dem Apples' Performance Oatmeal a top shelf oatmeal amped up with spicy ginger and chia seeds for maximum cardiovascular, skeletal, and muscular benefit. It is USDA Organic, non-GMO, vegan, and gluten, dairy and soy free. Packed full of 10g of protein this sounds like a great way to start my morning or as a mid-day post-workout snack.
e-Fuel is a low sugar, high complex carbohydrate sports drink mix that delivers energy without blood sugar spikes and crashes. e-Fuel is also gluten free and contains no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners which means more people can enjoy it.
I have my favorite electrolyte replacement hydration, so I am not too inclined to really switch things up at this time. Typically when I find electrolyte mixes in my StrideBox I pass them along to friends who might be interested in the product. I do have to say though, this product is interesting sounding and something that I will probably give a shot.
Hammer Gel vegan certified (except Nocciola flavor) energy gel that is made with complex carbohydrates, all-natural ingredients, and pH-balancing formula to give you the energy you need, but gentle on the GI-system.
I love chocolate. I love peanut butter. However, unlike a lot of runners, I am not a gel girl by any means. There is something about the texture that gets me and I just can't do it, so I have to resort to alternative means of fuel on my long runs, so even though I love peanut butter and chocolate, this is a sample that I will be passing along to a friend for them to try out.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE gummies. In fact, gummies have been a much loved run fuel choice for me over the years. Any time I get a chance to try out some "gummy fuel" options, I get pretty pumped. Energy Gummi Bears are caffeinated gummies packed with vitamin B & C to give you that boost of energy without jitters and crashes. Bonus: only 60 calories a pack! I absolutely cannot wait to try these out on my next run!
Stretching plays such an important part in running - especially in recovery. I am like most of you and don't stretch nearly enough. I like to think my weekly yoga is enough, but honestly it isn't. The benefits of stretching go so far including muscle recovery and flexibility. A lot of people don't know exactly how to stretch properly and end up "hurting" while stretching due to improper techniques or stretching too far/fast. The StrideBox Resistance Stretch Strap sounds like a great tool to help me control my movements and get those stretches in that I need to stay mobile and flexible.
