If you are from the South, you know that pollen season can be quite nasty in March and April. My breathing gets very bad during these few weeks and due to complications with allergies, my doctor advises me to limit my amount of time outside when pollen counts get high. Half marathons are kind of pushing it at times in the Spring, so I could only imagine what twice as far would do. Something for me to consider for sure.
There is a lot to consider before I commit to my next 26.2. It isn't something you just sign up for - you have to do it because YOU want to do it and you are willing to put in the work leading up to race day. It is a big decision that I am still processing. Don't worry, I will be sure to let you all know first if I do decide to go for it.
